NEW IN CAMEROON: ONLINE PAYMENTS FOR IELTS
You can now register easily and make Online Payments using your Visa, Visa Electron or Mastercard debit/credit cards. If you choose to pay online please make sure your card is
enabled for online payments and there are sufficient funds to cover the transaction. You should contact your bank for confirmation of your verification code before you begin. Also ensure you have your card details with you before starting the registration, as you will not be able to go back and pay online for the same date.
To register for the IELTS Test in Cameroon you should:
1. Enter your personal data into the candidates on-line database in the registration system. You should enter your Surname and Given Name as on your IDENTIFICATION Document.
In the address field, please enter BRITISH COUNCIL. Do not enter any strange characters (, ; // etc) in the address fields. Do not enter PO Box or PMB
Enter a valid phone number and an email address. Information about the test will be sent to your email automatically.
UPLOAD your Identification Document directly from the registration site
Your scanned identity document must contain :
your ID number
your date of birth
your ID expiry date
Your scanned document must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG format. The dimensions must be smaller than 1600 by 1600 pixels and the file size should be 1.5MB or less
2. Pay the test fee ( 145,000FRS) and send the proof of payment and a scan of your ID to us by email. If you choose to pay online, click on the relevant button on the registration page and complete the form using your card details. You will receive an email indicating the status of the transaction.
3. The original of the IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT you used for registration MUST be presented to the staff on the test day. Any other form of identification (photocopies, certificate of loss, alternative IDs etc) will be rejected and you won't be allowed to take the test. All foreginers must use their passports.
4. The Speaking test takes place in Yaounde within 7 days of the test date you choose. Please make necessary travel arragements if you live out of Yaounde.
5 Effective March 2015, the following items are NOT ALLOWED inside the test room: Mobile phones, Wrist watches ( all models) digital alarms and electronic eye glasses
