To register for the IELTS Test in Mauritius you should:

Enter your personal data into the candidates’ on-line database in the registration system. Please bear in mind that sessions will not be visible in the system after the registration deadline.
Once your application has been submitted, you cannot go back to change your details.
You will need access to a printer in order either to print the summary screen at the end of the online registration process, or to print the email that will be sent to you.
- Once you have completed the online registration process:
If we do not receive your accompanying documents and payment within 3 working days (refer to our opening hours), your application will be automatically cancelled.
Transfer the required fee of MUR 6000 according to the instructions given in the registration system immediately after registering for the test.
Payment can be made by office guaranteed cheque payable to the 'British Council', by bank transfer or in cash (at the British Council reception desk).
You will receive the FULL address of your test venue and further test day information after receipt of your documents and payment.
This information will be sent to you by registered post approx. 2 weeks before your test date. If you are outside Mauritius, the information will be sent via e-mail.
5. Catering for Special Needs:
We make every effort to cater for candidates with special needs to enable them to best understand questions and tasks and to give the answers.
It is our aim for the language of all candidates to be assessed fairly and objectively.
If you require a modified version of the test: e.g Braille, you must give us three months’ notice. This notice period is necessary for the modified test version to be prepared. If your circumstances require special administrative arrangements only to be made, e.g. extra time, we will require six weeks’ notice.
